A few Live Performances from over the years!
Throughout my adult life, I’ve been singing classic jazz. In more recent years, I added soul, neo-soul, R&B, reggae, and even some rock! So, here’s a little variety, starting with my rendition of Thelonius Monk’s ‘Round Midnight (beginning with a bio/interview), performed in Las Vegas! (NO, I do NOT still have that website! This one you’re on is it, now!) The second is at The Village Underground in NYC! Then there’s the Bop Stop in Cleveland with my band; Music Box Supper Club in Cleveland, singing reggae with One World Tribe; with jazz great Barry Harris unexpectedly in Manhattan at one of his workshops; The Lord’s Prayer with one of Cleveland’s elder pianists, Mr. James Wade, Jr; and finally, with Hubb’s Groove at B&M Barbeque, here in Cleveland at my birthday celebration, April 2024! Which style do you enjoy the most?
Vocal instructor for internationally acclaimed School of Rock! All that Frank Zappa, Steely Dan, Eric Clapton, etc that I also listened to over the years, comes in handy, while I’m being exposed to more contemporary rock! Music is a major part of life’s balance, for me! What’s yours?
